CK100402S Recombinant Human IL-21 (CHO cell-expressed) from SciProTech is manufactured using a CHO cell animal-free expression system, delivering high activity, high purity, and excellent batch-to-batch consistency. IL-21 is an important cytokine regulating NK cell and T cell proliferation, differentiation, and functional maintenance, and is widely used in NK cell expansion, CAR-NK manufacturing, T cell culture, CAR-T process development, and tumor immunology research. When used in combination with cytokines such as IL-2, IL-7, and IL-15, it can further enhance immune cell expansion efficiency and functional activity, meeting the demands of cell and gene therapy (CGT) R&D and industrial-scale production for high-quality cytokines.
Lyophilized powder form, convenient for transport, storage, and culture system preparation. Suitable for research, process development, and biomanufacturing applications.
Interleukins are a class of cytokines produced by and acting on multiple cell types. They play important roles in signal transduction, activation and regulation of immune cells, mediation of T and B cell activation, proliferation and differentiation, and inflammatory responses. IL-21 (interleukin-21) is secreted by activated CD4⁺ T cells, with a molecular structure similar to IL-15. It participates in regulating B cell proliferation and synergizes with IL-15 to promote bone marrow precursor cell proliferation and NK cell proliferation, differentiation, and cytotoxic activity. This product is expressed in CHO cells, featuring high purity, high activity, and freedom from animal-derived contamination.

This product is in lyophilized powder form. It is recommended to reconstitute with sterile water, PBS, or other suitable buffer to prepare a stock solution at 0.1–1.0 mg/mL.
After complete dissolution, further dilute to working concentration using culture medium according to experimental requirements. Aliquot for single-use storage and store at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to maintain product activity and stability.
Optimal cytokine concentration may vary across different cell types and culture systems. Optimization and validation based on specific culture processes and experimental objectives are recommended to achieve the best culture results.
Ice pack transport.
Store at -20°C or below, protected from light, moisture-proof, and sealed. After reconstitution, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Minimize product exposure to room temperature during handling to ensure product activity and stability.
